Our cost structure is particularly important during this period of uncertain and higher fuel prices. with almost 70% of our costs being viable or semi-fixed, coupled with our ability to adjust crew schedules closer into flights.

While hesitancy to travel remained on US routes, We took advantage of fair elasticity among travelers willing to book close to departure.

During the quarter, Golaris conducted sentiment surveys among passengers on both sides of the border. We found that a significant portion of travelers have mainly posted travel plans due to fears of deteriorating economic conditions, possibly linked to immigration rhetoric.

Hi, this is Shannon Daugherty. I'm from Mike. Thank you for taking my question. I'm just curious about how demand trends in other markets besides the U.S. have trended heading into this strong summer travel period, particularly on the international front, Central America and into South America. Thank you.

Hi, this is Holger again. So we're seeing, as I mentioned, a recovery in the transporter market, but we're also seeing the same trends in the domestic market. I can tell you that customers are deciding more close in to book their travel for the summer. Customers do remain sensitive to macro and geopolitical headlines, but this close in booking has enabled us to yield up both in the domestic and international markets while not affecting load factors. So overall, we're quite excited about the third quarter and the fourth quarter.

In terms of competition and capacity, it is encouraging to see that industry-wide capacity in both international and domestic market is adjusting with demand. The capacity environment in the domestic market has been quite rational. I do want to highlight that Volaris was the first carrier to make significant capacity reductions focusing on cash-positive flying and EBIT-positive flights. And we see that the industry has also adjusted their capacity downwards to bring capacity growth more in line with demand patterns that we're currently seeing.

For example, sales from Yavas, our vacation business, have increased by over 50%, significantly ahead of our expectations. since we revamped the platform to better cater to travelers. In parallel, we've been testing additional southbound leisure routes such as Ontario, California to Los Cabos and Oakland to Los Cabos. Early results are encouraging and we plan to increase frequencies as we refine our distribution strategy.

The second one, as VFR traffic-oriented airline, Volaris is uniquely positioned to capitalize on the growing need for families to reunite. We strongly believe we are experiencing a delay in traffic rather than a shift in long-term travel behavior. We transport travelers in full compliance with cross-border regulations and our customer satisfaction is high. We will continue to win in those markets.

We are engaging. We are observing very closely the different distribution channels and tracking microeconomic and macroeconomic factors to identify early signs of demand improvement. And the booking curves for July and August make us cautiously optimistic that there will be a recovery of the VFR traffic. We believe that VFR traffic has to travel in the high seasons to visit friends and family, both in the US and Mexico.

Yes, precisely. That's the reason we're reducing capacity. We are confident that the capacity reduction will lead to a sequential travel improvement starting in the summer and positioning us very well for a recovery for the second half of the year, which is seasonality adjusted always stronger.

Basically, since the US elections in November, we've seen a reduction of traffic and willingness to travel in both sides, both the US and the Mexican side in our VFR segment.
