Excluding these expenses, consolidated core net income and EPS were $49.1 million and 44 cents per share compared to $54.6 million.50 per share in the second quarter of 2023. Utility core net income was $43.9 million compared to $45.3 million in the same quarter last year. Bank core net income of $20.7 million was up from $20.2 million compared to the same quarter last year, and holding company core net loss of $15.5 million was up from $10.9 million. Lower utility core net income was driven by higher O&M and higher wildfire mitigation expenses.
