ASK THE POSTGRES SEMANTIC LAYER A QUESTION (no Snowflake, no model call). A plain question is mapped through the context layer's synonyms to one metric plus dimensions and run by scripts/semantic_query.py as your tenant; or send it structured: metric (e.g. signals.verified_signal_count), dimensions (e.g. [accounts.ticker]), filters (e.g. ["signals.event_date >= this_quarter"]). When the words name no single metric the reply is the catalog (tables, dimensions, metrics) and a note, never a guess. The reply carries mode, the SQL and the rows.
