Intelligence as City, Not Meta-Mind
The future is diverse specialization connected by infrastructure, not a monolithic superintelligence.
Google's research argues that intelligence scales like a city, not like a single brain growing larger. Cities work because of diverse specialization connected by shared infrastructure -- roads, utilities, communication networks. No single building needs to understand the whole city.
steadybase is a city. Each app is a district with its own purpose: PipeScout is the sales district, RollCall is the production studio, InkPost is the media office, BloomGrants is the grants department. The shell is shared infrastructure. The Signal Bus is commerce between districts.
New apps install like new businesses opening in the city. They plug into existing infrastructure and start contributing immediately. The city grows organically, not by central planning.
