I met with OSEP, the Office for Zero Emission Vehicles, while I was in London. made it with people in Paris and all over Europe. And this electrification thing's going at a pace. As you know, they banned the sale of internal combustion in 2035. There's an awful lot of work to do. There's not enough energy on the grid, capacity on the grid, and it takes a long time to install grid-tied charging infrastructure. So the same things that made us successful in the U.S. are going to make us as successful, if not much more so, in Europe. And by the way, for anybody that's questioning whether or not EVs are going to happen, it's unbelievable here. Half the cars on the road today are electric vehicles already. And they're starting to bang up against the same problems, lack of capacity on the grid and taking too long to deploy. So I think we're going to see an awful lot of government spending everywhere. But, yes, Europe is the largest market in the world and probably will see the most money spent.

Since our last earnings call, I've personally spent almost half of my time traveling, and most of that time in Europe, although I did have a very eventful couple of weeks in Washington, D.C., meeting with leaders on the Hill. My European travel was largely about meeting new customers and investors, but also very gratifyingly, visiting locations where the first EV arcs produced by Beam Europe have been deployed.

In September, I spent a month in Europe and the Levant seeking and advancing opportunities to expand our business to the largest EV markets in the world, where internal combustion engine vehicles will be banned in a little over 12 years from now.
